Original Highlands Silent Auction & Wine Tasting
The Original Highland’s Neighborhood will present their 2009 Silent Auction on
October 1, 7 – 10 pm,
at the Episcopal Church of the Advent
at 901 Baxter Avenue.
Auction items include a Billiards Set and a Stained Glass Lamp from Budweiser, Various handmade Quilts, Restaurant Gift Certificates, Art pieces from the 2009 Festival's Artists, donations from Highlands neighbors and businesses, and much, much more. The auction is free to all. Proceeds benefit The Louisville AIDS Walk, St. Brigid's Catholic Church, and the OHNA.
The simultaneous Wine Tasting will be catered by The Mayan Café, and will feature Crios Portfolio by Susana Balbo. Five wines - 3 reds, 1 white and 1 rose - all are completely delicious! Cases of wine will be available for order, courtesy of The Wine Market and Old Town Wine & Spirits.
